GKA KITE-SURF WORLD TOUR STOP ADDED AT PRESTIGIOUS KITESURF WORLD CUP GERMANY EVENT
Monday 17th July, 2017 Hamburg, Germany
After the Germany leg of the WKL World Cup 2017 was cancelled by the German Event-Organizer and the WKL because of irreconcilable disputes between the two parties, the GKA decided at its last AGM in Tarifa (29./30.6.) to rescue the most important kite event in the world by running a GKA Kite-Surf World Tour stop in Fehmarn (Germany) in its place.
The decision was made because of the fact that it is of utmost importance for the kite-sports world to guarantee the ongoing success and sustainability of the World Cup in Fehmarn, which takes place in the home of the biggest kite-sport-consumer market.
The World Cup Germany provides a comprehensive and attractive support program both on and off the water, including a 'Testival' for consumers to try the newest kite and board models of various brands.
